Attorney Maryam Ghayyad practices immigration and nationality law, including the full spectrum of family-based, employment-related and individual immigration matters. She previously worked as a law clerk at the immigration law firm, Lopez Law Group, LLC, and as a summer associate for a Milwaukee firm, where she gained experience in civil defense litigation. Ms. Ghayyad also worked as a law clerk at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections - Office of Legal Counsel.
Upon earning her law degree from the UW Law School in 2012, Ms. Ghayyad received the 2012 Bercovici Prize for Jurisprudence/Legal Philosophy for excellence in the study of jurisprudence and legal philosophy. She graduated summa cum laude from UW-Madison in 2005. Ms. Ghayyad is fluent in Spanish.
