Jennifer L. Fleet is a senior associate with Weaver & Budd Law. She has years of experience with the court system, having worked as a Guardian ad Litem in Broward County, Florida, and as a family services caseworker in Vero Beach, Florida. She received her license to practice law in North Carolina in 2013, practicing in family law and civil litigation, and also handling domestic and civil appeals.
Domestic and Family cases are often emotional and overwhelming for clients. Jennifer takes each case as an opportunity to work with a client to reach a solution to their legal issue in the most constructive and effective manner while preserving the dignity and emotional health of all parties involved.
Appellate advocacy requires time, patience and the ability to determine relevant issues to bring to a higher court. Jennifer's passion for her appellate practice provides an opportunity to bring cutting edge and timely issues to the attention of the higher courts in North Carolina. Among her accomplishments she has successfully appealed a domestic custody order to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, achieving a second chance at visitation for a client.
Jennifer lives in Charlotte with her two children. She is a dedicated supporter of East Mecklenburg High School Wrestling and Randolph Middle School Softball.
