Joe graduated magna cum laude from Saint Joseph's University in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School on full scholarship, graduating in 1963. Before beginning his law practice, he worked in the Tax Department of Arthur Anderson in Philadelphia. He earned a Master of Laws degree in Taxation in 1976 from Temple University School of Law. Joe Monte has been practicing law with Eckell, Sparks since 1964 and has been a partner since 1967. With a strong accounting background, he has been the chief financial officer for over 35 years and maintains a vital role in the management of the firm.
