Bar Admissions: Richard was admitted to practice in the State of Arizona in 1981. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Education and Honors: Richard earned his undergraduate degree in political science from California State University at Fullerton in 1976 and graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1981.
Professional Activities and Experience: Richard is a member of the State Bar of Arizona (Mental Health & Elder Law Sections), the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Medicaid Planning Council, the Governor's Council on Aging, and the Maricopa County Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance. He currently serves as a board member and chair of the Public Policy Committee for the Alzheimer's Association Desert Southwest Chapter and is a former board member for Mesa Senior Services.
Personal: Prior to joining the Jackson law firm in 1985, Richard worked for Burch & Cracchiolo in Phoenix in the area of consumer defense and personal injury law.
