Daniel J. Klein is a partner in the firm’s Miami and Key West offices. His practice encompasses many different and diverse areas of the law, including: commercial litigation, condominium & community association, nursing home/assisted living facility defense, employment & labor, insurance coverage & carrier representation, premises liability, professional malpractice, commercial banking and financial litigation, construction defects, commercial and residential properties, vehicle negligence, SIU investigations, trucking, security negligence, complex transaction disputes, personal injury and defense of professional liability claims, the prosecution of commercial mortgage foreclosures and class action litigation.

Mr. Klein received his Bachelor of Arts, in Communication Studies/Journalism, from the University of Maryland located in College Park. He then attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Klein served as a law clerk in the chambers of Judge Marc Schumacher in the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Mr. Klein was named one of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Up-and-Comers, for 2008 and 2009. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, he was named as a Florida Rising Star in Florida SuperLawyers Magazine.

He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and all other State courts within the State of Florida. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Dade-County Bar Association, the Monroe County Bar Association and the Florida Defense Lawyer’s Association.
