Mr. Caballero graduated with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management and Minor concentrations in Business Administration and History. Mr. Caballero was also a member of the Carnegie Mellon University football team while an undergraduate. Mr. Caballero received his law degree from the Florida International University College of Law, where he was on the Dean’s List and graduated top 10% of his class.
While in law school, Mr. Caballero was a Certified Legal Intern with the Florida International University Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where he represented underprivileged individuals in immigration removal proceedings and civil wage theft claims. Mr. Caballero has also been active providing guest lectures to law students at the Florida International University College of Law in the areas of product liability and firm management.
Mr. Caballero was named one of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite “Top Up and Comers” in 2013. In 2018, Mr. Caballero was named as one of Florida’s top “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers Magazine, which is awarded to less than 2.5% of the attorneys in the state. Additionally, Mr. Caballero was honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by receiving the Top 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of South Florida award in 2018.
He is a member of the Florida Bar and is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Caballero is fluent in Spanish.
