He went to undergraduate college at the State University of New York at Fredonia, graduating with high honors Cum Laude. He was President of the Freshman Honor Society. His major study area was Accounting with Minors in Economics and Politics. He was chosen by the college President to be on the Presidents Cabinet, consisting of a small handful of right hand people that would provide the President with robust debate at brainstorming sessions to better the college and motivate the students.

While attending the University Of Miami School of law he clerked for the late Manuel A. Crespo, Esq. who was President of the Cuban American Bar Association at the time a Circuit Court Judge. Jack owes a lot of his understanding of the practical aspects of the practice of law to the late Judge Crespo who taught him to above all to put your client first and to live up to the word honor.
