Biography

Mario Alexander Gomez is a partner at Klein Glasser Park & Lowe, litigating catastrophic personal injury cases stemming from premises liability, automobile negligence, and negligent security claims. Mario began his legal carrier by successfully completing two Judicial Internships with the United States Department of Justice, assisting the judges with legal research and writing extensive legal opinions on several litigated cases. For his work with the U.S. Dept. of Justice, Mario was awarded the Pro Bono Silver Medal Award, for the year 2000. From there, Mario went on to gain significant civil litigation and jury trial experience. First, practicing with a personal injury firm for two years, a large Florida based insurance defense firm for four years, and was in-house counsel for a large insurance carrier for nine years. During his career Mario has handled several high exposure cases in the areas catastrophic personal injury claims, medical malpractice, toxic torts, insurance coverage disputes, and construction defect. Mario has tried over two dozen civil cases to verdict with the majority of them as first chair.
