Ms. Patel was admitted to practice law in North Carolina in 2014. Ms. Patel joined Colombo & Hurd in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Patel worked as a business immigration attorney for a Los Angeles based immigration firm where she handled employment-based visa petitions for specialty occupation (H-1) and the transfer of managers, executives, and specialized knowledge employees to offices in the United States (L-1). Her experience also includes preparing Requests for Evidence responses and Motions to Reconsider, as well as PERM applications and TN visas. At Colombo & Hurd, Ms. Patel has flourished, developing a reputation for representing investors in the filing of EB-5 Visa and E-2 Visa Applications. Moreover, Ms. Patel has been successful in obtaining O-1 Visas for a number of the firm's clients. Ms. Patel's experiences enable her to analyze a variety of complex legal issues and have helped her develop a strong background in legal research and writing. Ms. Patel has passion for helping her clients and is dedicated to assisting them in their immigration matters. Being a first generation herself, she understands the value of immigration laws and hopes to help her clients pursue their dream of coming to and remaining in the United States. Ms. Patel is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati and is a trained and certified Guardian Ad Litem.
