Biography

Steve Bassin has substantial experience in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions involving industrial, self-storage, retail, hotels, shopping centers, office, medical, condominiums, multi-family, student housing, senior housing, marinas and entertainment properties. He frequently represents banks, institutions, REITs, private equity funds, operators and investors in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, joint ventures and related corporate work. Steve also acts as outside general counsel for several funds, developers and investors advising such clients on any issues that are connected to their real estate business. Steve’s development experience includes representations of developers throughout the United States and abroad during all stages of the projects from their initial acquisition of the land, through pre-development, construction, leasing, financings and ultimate exit.
