Thomas M. David concentrates his practice in the areas of Real Estate Law, specializing in land use, zoning, foreclosure defense and general litigation; Government Relations Law, including administrative and lobbying; and, Non-profit Law.
Mr. David's practice applies his more than twenty-year of public and private sector experience to represent businesses and individuals that are seeking strategies to resolve problems caused by local, state or federal government regulations Prior to entering private practice, Mr. David worked as Chief of staff for the Miami-Dade County Manager and in a number of private and public sector entities. His broad experience includes several years as Executive Director of the We Will Rebuild Foundation, which focused on aiding Miami's recovery from Hurricane Andrew.
Mr. David is active in several civic and business organizations, including the Florida Atlantic Builders Association Legislative Committee. He serves on the boards of the following non-profit organizations: Miami-Dade Public Schools Site Selection, Planning and Construction Committee; Rural Neighborhoods (Provider of housing to farm workers); Homestead Main Street, Inc.
