•While attending law school, Freddie served as an Executive Board Member of Cumberland’s prestigious Trial Advocacy Board, National Negotiation Team, National Client Counseling Team, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, and the Black Law Students Association. He received the Outstanding Advocate Award from the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s Lloyd M. Johnson Scholarship, and Scholar of Merit for Business Bankruptcy.
•For undergrad, Freddie attended Alabama A&M University as a Presidential Scholar. He served as President of the Student Government Association and a member of the Board of Trustees. He also received a Certificate in International Relations from Howard University as a Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Scholar.
•Freddie is also an alum of Teach For America. Teach for America works in partnership with schools and communities to expand educational opportunity for children facing the challenges of poverty. He also worked for Teach for America as a Culture Specialist in the Mississippi Delta and as a Recruitment Manager, recruiting at Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida.
