Phil K. Rucker joined the firm's civil litigation practice as an associate in 2016. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Rucker practiced law for over four years at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto where he represented clients in complex commercial litigation, securities class actions, internal FCPA and accounting investigations, and SEC and FINRA investigations. Mr. Rucker's experience includes navigating clients through the complexities of federal and California state courts, managing all phases of electronic discovery, resolving issues expeditiously and economically through motion practice or settlement, and advising on evolving areas of law.

Mr. Rucker is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego (B.A. 2007), and the UCLA School of Law (J.D. 2011). During law school, Mr. Rucker served as an extern to the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and volunteered at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles where he assisted clients in connection with landlord/tenant disputes.
