Biography

Mr. Fischer was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin and raised on the family farm in Southeastern Minnesota. He has a broad agricultural background and worked over a six year period for the United States Forest Service and the California Department of Forestry.

Legal Background

Mr. Fischer began with the Los Angeles insurance defense firm of Hosp, Lytle, Richard & Granieri in 1986 becoming an associate in 1989, wherein he emphasized a full range civil litigation practice. Mr. Fischer represented national insurance companies, financial institutions and corporations, handling all aspects of their litigation from pre-trial discovery to appeal.

In 1992 Mr. Fischer was one of the founding partners of Fischer, Norris & Schrader, LLP. Mr. Fischer currently concentrates his practice on civil litigation matters which encompass all areas of insurance law and liability. He handles litigation cases ranging from defense of personal injury to complex liability issues. Mr. Fischer has litigated a wide variety of cases, including wrongful death actions, construction defects, insurance coverage, subrogation, products liability, premises liability, creditor-debtor litigation and federal civil rights actions. He continues to counsel businesses and corporations throughout California.
