Clerked for Judge Truman M. Hobbs, Sr., United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. After his clerkship, Lee joined Copeland, Franco, Screws & Gill, where his father had been one of the firm's founders. Lee handles a wide variety of legal maters, both corporate and individual.
