Katherine W. Trotter

Katherine is a Tennessee native who has called New Orleans home for nearly a decade. After graduating from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, she attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where she received her J.D. During her time at Loyola, Katherine was a member of Loyola's trial advocacy program where she represented the school in national competition and later became a member of The Order of Barristers.

Katherine joined the New Orleans office of Galloway Johnson in 2017. Prior to her arrival at Galloway, Katherine handled complex multi-party disputes for both Fortune 500 companies and small locally owned businesses in the areas of environmental and toxic tort liability, mass tort, personal injury, and products liability. She prides herself on being equally comfortable in a wide array of tribunals be it mediation, arbitration, or state and federal courts. Recognizing that every dispute is unique, Katherine is committed to ongoing communication and collaboration with her clients to ensure that the clients' needs are meaningfully addressed and achieved in all phases of litigation.

Katherine is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, the American Bar Association and Federal Bar Association. Katherine believes that to those who much has been given, much is expected. She has served as a fundraiser and volunteer for InterACT NOLA, which provides a creative outlet through the medium of live theatre for adults with special needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and hound dog, Jerry Lee.
