An Of Counsel at HPM&B, Jennifer C. Plotkin joined the firm in 2016. Prior to joining HPM&B, Ms. Plotkin was an attorney at a large firm in Manhattan focusing her practice on the defense of major metropolitan hospitals and individual physicians. Ms. Plotkin has an extensive background representing major hospital facilities, academic medical centers, individual physicians and other healthcare professionals in complex, high exposure, medical liability actions. She also has experience handling general negligence matters and has represented educational facilities in premise liability and negligent supervision cases. Jennifer started her legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel where she defended hundreds of cases on behalf of the City of New York from inception to trial.

She has successfully argued numerous dispositive motions throughout the New York Metropolitan area which resulted in dismissals for her clients without the need to go to trial and has also successfully handled appeals before the Appellate Courts of New York State.

Ms. Plotkin is actively involved in the community in Long Island City and volunteers her time to various fundraising events and also volunteers her time to Brooklyn Law School and has been a judge for the Jerome Prince Moot Court Honor Society Competition.
