Martha Cohen Stine is a founding partner of Cohen Rabin Stine Schumann LLP and has focused exclusively in the field of family law for more than 20 years. While Ms. Stine strives for amicable resolutions of family disputes and is excellent at the negotiation and drafting of marital agreements including separation agreements, custody agreements and prenuptial agreements, she also has extensive litigation and trial experience in New York's trial and appellate courts, with an excellent record of success in her litigated cases, including well known legal victories in high profile cases. She appears frequently in the media and is often quoted as an expert in her field, and has been involved in many high profile matters throughout her career.

Ms. Stine is active in numerous bar associations and plays leadership roles. In addition to Co-Chairing the Matrimonial Section, Ms. Stine sits on NYCLA’s Board of Directors and is in her third term as Chair of the NYCLA Foundation, the charitable arm of NYCLA. She is also on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, and is a member of the Board of Directors of New York American Inn of Court, an organization dedicated to the fostering of excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills.
Ms. Stine has a strong connection to theater and the arts and is the producer and director of many original musicals performed by talented lawyers and judges at bar associations throughout New York City. She is a trained singer and a member of the Blue Hill Troupe, a Gilbert & Sullivan troupe that supports local charities through its productions, and has appeared in operas with Utopia Opera and Village Light Opera. Ms. Stine is an active member of the Lotos Club, a literary club, and the Lambs, America's oldest theatrical club.
