Michael Ruder is a securities lawyer whose practice is primarily concentrated in the area of structured finance and securitization. In this capacity, he has represented issuers, underwriters and mortgage loan sellers in connection with commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions, including agency, single-borrower and large-loan transactions. Michael also has represented clients in connection with secondary-market trades and Rule 15Ga-1 regulatory compliance matters.

He received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University. While in law school, Michael interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and is a member of the New York City Bar Association.
