Ms. Peyronnel counsels clients on trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, as well as global protection of brands. She represents clients who maintain extensive international trademark portfolios. Ms. Peyronnel also has experience with trademark enforcement, including enforcement against online infringement, and litigation of trademark, trade dress and copyright cases.
Ms. Peyronnel has litigated cases involving a broad range of claims, including trademark and trade dress infringement, trademark and trade dress dilution, federal and common law unfair competition, false advertising, counterfeiting and copyright infringement in federal court. Her trademark litigation experience also includes opposition and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB and collaborating with counsel outside the U.S. on foreign opposition and cancellation actions.
Ms. Peyronnel negotiates, reviews and drafts trademark and copyright licenses and assignments, trademark co-existence agreements, settlement agreements, marketing and public relations services agreements, sponsorship agreements, talent agreements and has experience negotiating, reviewing and drafting agreements in various areas of the motion picture and music industries, including music placement agreements, life story rights agreements and production agreements.
She represents and counsels clients from the consumer products, technology, food, beverage, fashion, jewelry, entertainment, art and cannabis industries on a broad range of issues related to trademarks, copyrights, brand protection, as well as rights of publicity and privacy.
Ms. Peyronnel has an active pro bono practice, including representing educational non-profits, violence prevention organization and global participatory art project.
Ms. Peyronnel is admitted to practice in New York and Paris. She is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the New York State Bar Association and the French American Bar Association. She received her law degree from Paris Nanterre University (Universite Paris 10 Nanterre) in France, where she attended a highly selective double major program focused on French, British and American Law, and holds an LL.M. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is a native speaker of French.
