Stephen Pischl joined the firm as an Associate in June 2016. His practice concentrates on defending management in labor and employment matters, including employment discrimination claims, retaliation and harassment suits, wage and hour litigation, grievance and arbitration proceedings, and administrative proceedings before federal, state and local agencies.
Mr. Pischl has significant experience litigating employment matters in New York state and federal courts, and has successfully resolved cases on the merits and through favorable settlement. He has experience in managing all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, engaging in motion practice and appearing at oral arguments and trials. In addition to handling litigation, Mr. Pischl also advises and counsels clients on their compliance obligations under federal, state and local laws.Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pischl served as Senior Counsel in the Labor & Employment Division of the New York City Law Department. At the Law Department, he defended the City of New York, its agencies and its management against a broad range of employment claims in federal and state courts.
