Travis Carter was born and raised in Long Island, NY. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Upon graduating from UNLV, he returned to New York City to begin his legal career at New York Law School. While there, Travis worked pro bono representing indigent clients as part of the 18-B program in Queens, NY. In addition, Travis interned at Barasch McGarry Salzman & Penson during his 3rd year of law school.
Upon graduation he accepted a full time position with Barasch McGarry as Associate Attorney where his litigation practice is focused on representing severely injured members of the 9/11 community. He has worked tirelessly to recover millions of dollars for his clients and prides himself on his intricate knowledge of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, ensuring that his clients receive the award they deserve.
