  • By now, almost everyone reading this publication will be familiar with Bill 168 and the amendments it introduced to the Occupational Health and Safety Act . For those who aren't, Bill 168 significantly broadened an employer's obligations with respect to workplace violence and harassment. In this respect, an employer has a positive obligation to take action to both prevent and address violent and/or harassing behaviour in the workplace.
