Ana Beysoylu is the managing partner of AB Levant Tax Advisors and responsible for the firm’s international tax law practice. Her work focuses on international tax law and compliance matters that affect corporates, investment funds, and high net wealth individuals and entrepreneurs investing in alternative asset classes in emerging markets. Since the late 1980s Ana Beysoylu has played a leading role in representing clients from around the world in on/offshore cross-border tax and finance structuring, ETFs, fund structures, project finance, and public and private equity transactions. From 1989 to 2004 she worked as the founding/managing partner of VDA Associates, an international tax law firm with offices in several European countries. Since 2004, Ana Beysoylu has been a founding partner of Ana Balat Holdings, a private equity firm investing in alternative asset classes in emerging markets.
Ana Beysoylu is a graduate from Leyden University (Netherlands) and the University of Notre Dame Law School, and holds a PhD in international law. Her professional affiliations include the International Bar Association, American Bar Association, International Fiscal Association, Society of Trust & Estate Planners, International Tax Planning Association, International Association of Petroleum Negotiators, Alternative Investment Management Association, as well as being a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (UK), and a member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute. She is Board Member of several financial services companies and a patron of several European art institutions.Ana Beysoylu is based at the firm’s office in Mauritius. She routinely receives praise from clients for her creativity, legal and structuring skills, and dedication to client service.
