The law firm of Birzon and Associates is a specialty law
firm located in Smithtown, New York with a satellite office location in
Jericho, New York and New York City. Today, the civil litigation firm has three
attorneys who blend over 75 years of experience in law, government service and
university teaching. Having worked on Capitol Hill and at large prominent law
firms, our clients benefits not only from our significant experience, but also
the professional relationships we have established and maintained in the course
of our legal careers.
The firm has adopted and maintains a policy whereby the
partners of the firm remain dedicated to and participate in each and every
aspect of each client's concerns. Unlike other firms, while the firm has had
numerous opportunities to grow, it has enhanced its client base dramatically
while maintaining an intimate and personal relationship with its clients.
The firm has earned verdicts and received a settlement that
in the aggregate, exceeds $75 million dollars. In recent years the firm has
obtained verdicts/settlements that approximate or exceed 8 million dollars in
such matters as wrongful death, suicide prevention, automobile accidents,
construction accidents and numerous medical malpractice cases. The firm's
specialty areas are limited by design and it is the intention of each and every
partner at the firm to limit their expertise and availability to select members
of the community.
Historically, this philosophy has served the firm and more
important our clients well and the firm is well renowned for having an
extremely loyal client base. In addition to providing the highest level of
dedication of service to it's clients, the firm engages in various pro-bono
activities in the Long Island community with Mr. Birzon having received special
recognition from the Suffolk County Bar Association for his generous and
charitable pro-bono work. The firm has also dedicated its time and resources to
the Scleraderma Foundation, 1 in 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action
Coalition, Parents for Megan's Law and various other charitable institutions.
