I understand that my clients are often facing some of the most difficult times of their lives. When I choose to take a case, I do so with an understanding of what is at stake and with a deep commitment to the client I serve. I work diligently for each of my clients and am focused on their immediate needs and long-term interests.
At my law office, you will receive the accessible, responsive and highly personalized representation you deserve. I take time to work closely with my clients and understand their needs and objectives. I feel that a big part of my job is understanding my clients, their families and their unique circumstances.
I provide each of my clients with a candid assessment of their case. I try to help them understand how a court would potentially view their case so they can make informed and practical decisions that will positively impact their future. I believe strongly that an informed client is an empowered client.
I have advanced training in collaborative law, a process that encourages parties to resolve disputes cooperatively without the intervention of the courts and with the assistance of knowledgeable counsel. The collaborative law process can be used in divorce, child custody disputes, visitation disputes and other family law matters to help parties avoid the financial and emotional costs of protracted litigation. Using the collaborative process, my goal is to help my clients restore peace to their lives and preserve family relationships. For clients who do not wish to utilize the collaborative law process, I have considerable experience in the traditional contested process for divorce and other family law matters.
