Jeffrey Easley's firm opened in 1990 and provides the highest quality representation - with a history of over one hundred state and federal court cases, including high-profile; hundreds of negotiated agreements; and millions of dollars paid to our clients. Our contract services include negotiation of terms, such as title, duties, tenure, duration, reinstatement, compensation, severance pay and stock, benefits, royalties, fees, rights, assignment, confidentiality/nondisclosure, and non-disparagement; and counsel regarding professional services and practices, employment, performance, talent, independent contractor, severance/separation, stock option and grant, non-compete, non-disclosure, trade secret, licensing, production, recording, publishing, and other agreements. Our intellectual property services include counsel, registration, and agreements related to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. Our damages recovery and dispute resolution services include negotiation, mediation, administrative actions, arbitrations, court cases, and appeals related to federal, California, and Colorado breach of contract, tortious interference, unfair business practice, employment discrimination (gender, race, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, religion, national origin, color, and ethnicity), labor (e.g. unpaid wages, overtime violations, Fair Labor Standards Act), securities, and other statutes; the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA); federal and state unlawful employment retaliation statutes (e.g. complaining about discrimination or labor law violations, taking FMLA [Family and Medical Leave Act] or state medical/family leave, engaging in a whistle-blowing activity); privacy invasions; defamation (libel and slander); contravention of public policies against workplace retaliation (e.g. exercising a constitutional right such as free speech, filing a worker's compensation claim, making a wage claim, refusing to perform an illegal act); copyright infringement and interference with other intellectual property rights; fraud (misrepresentation and concealment); negligence; assault and battery; equitable remedies; and other claims.

There were many hurdles thrown at us during the journey - including meltdowns from me but, throughout it all, his knowledge, expertise, negotiation skills and just great personality won the day.     When I was wrongfully terminated from my employer, I discussed my case with many different law firms who would not take my case. After speaking with Jeff, he believed in my case and wrongful termination and successfully was able to fight for me. Jeff was very easy to work with and stayed in constant communication with me during the arbitration process. In the end, Jeff was able to settle my case with ease. I would recommend Jeff to anyone.     Coming from Europe it was my first time since living in the US when I had to find a lawyer supporting me in an employment issue which led to a settlement agreement. I went through several lawyers website and Jeff's experience was the one I was looking for. after the first phone call I was sure that I can work easily with Jeff as he has the ability to stay calm and listens. He is straightforward and listens well and then provides a solution or feedback that is results driven and honest. His fees are responsible and I felt it was worth every penny for the outcome I received. He is my go to guy now for advice and I like that he is very quick to respond.

    I was very distraught when I called Jeff. He talked me through everything and I felt much better when I got off the phone. He explained what would happen and what my options were. In the end, he got my severance package doubled and finally understood that what I was experiencing at work was just not right. I couldn't have been happier with the result.
    I also used him in the past for other types of legal matters, and was very happy with both results. Good attorneys are worth every dime!
