About this firm

Gary E. Patterson, P.C. is a unique Houston law firm located in downtown Houston, Texas that offers legal services in a multitude of different areas of law.

We are a Houston law firm with over 20 years of legal experience. Our Houston attorneys pride themselves on the philosophy that legal representation should be within reach of all those needing legal expertise and we work within the fee structure that works best for you. Gary E. Patterson, P.C. brings together unparalleled experience in business transactions (i.e. business "marriages and divorces"), trade secret, non-solicitation and non-compete law contracts, international transactions, business transactions, employment law and human resources consulting, personal injury, family and estate law and criminal law.

Gary E. Patterson, P.C. has a unique perspective to offer business clients. Because we have extensive experience as Houston trial lawyers, we know what can go wrong in a business deal or a contract down the road and can properly counsel business clients over effectuating the most cost efficient deal with the least amount of legal problems in the future. This means we can counsel a client all the way from the infancy of a business union, through all the paperwork of the business formation, and litigate any and all matters relating to that company. In addition, we are associated with a top notch appellate law firm here in Houston, Texas. We have the ability to cover your needs from the beginning until the very end.

Gary E. Patterson P.C. is completely focused on meeting the needs of each and every client that engages it for representation. Whether you are an individual who needs help reviewing a lease, or a company looking to revamp all of your business contracts, our Houston attorneys are dedicated to spending the time with you to analyze your needs and make a joint determination with you as to the best course of action to take.

Because we are not a large firm, our Houston attorneys do not pressure our staff to meet artificial billing requirements. Rather, we encourage our attorneys and staff to spend the time necessary to efficiently work each matter towards the most favorable outcome for the client. As is evident from our relatively lower billing rates compared to the market, there is no need to inflate our billing to support large salaries: this only benefits you as the client. Where possible, we encourage our clients to resolve their matters early on, while at the same time aggressively litigating when necessary.
