A divorce dissolves a valid marriage for causes that ordinarily arise after the wedding ceremony. Louisiana permits fault-based divorce, as well as the popular no-fault divorce option for parties that have lived separate and apart for at least six months. Divorce can be complicated, and attorney Layne M. Adams has been guiding clients through the divorce process with compassion and practical counsel for over 25 years.
