We also have experience in cases involving criminal defense, legal malpractice, product defects, workers' compensation, employment disputes, and social security disability claims.
American Board Of Criminal Lawyers
The American Board of Criminal Lawyers (ABCL) was founded in June 1978 by San Francisco attorney Nathan Cohn, who conceived the idea of an exclusive national, legal honorary society for outstanding criminal trial lawyers, with admission to fellowship by invitation only.
The standards for acceptance to ABCL include successful major felony trial experience and exceptional recommendations from distinguished jurists and current Fellows attesting to the candidate's high ethics as well as litigation skills in the area of criminal defense.
The primary concern of the ABCL is the preservation and free exercise of fundamental freedoms for all those accused of criminal conduct. ABCL Fellows have become involved in many criminal cases throughout the country where the principles of the organization and the collective experience of the Fellows have made a worthwhile contribution.
Lawrence A. Vogelman is the only Fellow in New Hampshire for the American Board of Criminal Lawyers.
We have strong ties to the community.
We share a strong belief that lawyers should be involved in civic and political endeavors. Several of us have held political office, while others volunteer in civic and sports activities.
We represent individuals in cases around the country; either directly or on a co-counsel basis.
Due to our recent success in malpractice and other personal injury cases we have been referred substantial personal injury, malpractice, and civil rights cases by lawyers from many other states.
Offering preeminent services since 1976.
The firm as it currently exists has been in operation since 1994, but its predecessor firms date back to 1976, when David L. Nixon co-founded the firm of Brown and Nixon; that firm was recognized as one of the preeminent plaintiffs' personal injury firms in New Hampshire, as is the current firm. Our law firm enjoys a respected statewide and national reputation, but has deliberately chosen to remain small in order to offer personalized and supportive service to our clients. We are assisted in this by our talented and dedicated staff, who understand the difficult emotional and financial needs of people, particularly those who have suffered injury caused by the negligence of others.
We encourage you to seek a free consultation if you have a legal problem that falls within our areas of practice.
We believe clients should have trust and confidence in their lawyer, and encourage you to compare our firm with others before making your final decision to retain us.
