Ramón Worthington, P.L.L.C. currently has three locations in McAllen, Austin, and South Padre Island, Texas. Our legal team is made up of Sofia Ramón, Dan Worthington, Liz Cantu, Sarah Nicolas, Steve Bosky, Shellie Smith and Christiana Dijkman.
Sofia, Dan, Liz and Sarah have successfully represented clients in dozens of trials and arbitration proceedings throughout the state. Our lawyers have been involved with various community boards and organizations and have supported local organizations focused on assisting under-represented constituents, including minorities, children, and women: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA of Hidalgo), Heart Gallery of Hidalgo County (promoting awareness, understanding and adoption of children in the foster care program), Habitat for Humanity and Rotary Clubs International. Dan Worthington currently serves as President of McAllen-South Rotary Club, Sofia Ramon is a Director of CASA and Elizabeth Cantu is a Director with the Hidalgo County Bar and President-Elect of the Women’s Bar Section. Chrissy Dijkman is serving her 8th year as the Vice-President of the Laguna Madre Humane Society and her 7th year as a board member of Fishing’s Future.
Our lawyers frequently speak at State and National conferences and education programs. In addition, Sofia is the current area vice president of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Dan is a former president of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, is currently a national director of the DRI and is on the Lawyers’ Committee of the National Center for State Courts.
