About this firm

The firm's partners formed Strickland Brockington Lewis LLP in 2001 after practicing together for twelve years, originally with the Atlanta firm of Wilson Strickland & Benson PC (1971-2000). Frank Strickland joined that firm as a partner in 1971; Peggy Brockington and Anne Lewis both joined the firm as associates and later became partners. All three joined Holland & Knight LLP as partners in 2000. They formed Strickland Brockington Lewis LLP in October 2001.

The firm's practice focuses on assisting clients in resolving complex problems successfully and as quickly and efficiently as possible. Whether that involves litigation, helpful advice, or alternative methods of resolving disputes, the firm stands ready to assist its clients in resolving their perplexing problems.

The firm's attorneys are all admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. They are involved in a wide variety of organizations related to their practice, including the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) and the State Bar of Georgia School and College Law Section. They are also active participants in a number of legal public service organizations including the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, the Truancy Intervention Project, the Georgia State University College of Law Board of Governors, the GSU Graduate Leadership Council and the Emory Law School Council. In addition, President George W. Bush nominated Frank Strickland to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation (LSC). Frank served as Chairman of the Board of LSC from April 2003 until April 2010.
