    I didn't ask to have a partner assigned to me. I paid a lot of money for a partner and got the results of a junior lawyer. He promised to do certain things and said he would be able to file certain things to attain a certain value from the employer. Instead it sounded like he got talked out of it by the in-house lawyers of the former employer, which were the people who caused part of the problems. I ended up barely breaking even from the lawyer fees, which are more to pay a partner of the firm
