Prior to joining the firm, Pinto worked at two Philadelphia defense firms. In 2007, Pinto began his legal career as an associate at Dechert LLP where his practice focused on mass torts and product liability matters, primarily defending companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and flavoring manufacturing industries.
Pinto also maintained a pro bono practice where he successfully represented indigent and mentally disabled clients in landlord/tenant disputes, property matters, and civil rights cases.
In 2010, Pinto joined Ballard Spahr LLP as an associate in the Litigation Group where he represented several Fortune 100 financial institutions in federal and state court cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Pinto also pursued RICO and ERISA claims on behalf of individuals who were denied benefits through a fraudulent employee benefit scheme. Pinto earned a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to graduate magna cum laude from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law, where he served as Note/Comment Editor for the Temple Law Review.
Pinto is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
