Kyle represents management in employment-related disputes, including harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment and discrimination claims based on age, race, gender, color, religion, national origin, disability or perceived disability, appearing before the EEOC, OFCCP, PHRC, or WVHRC.
Kyle also handles complex constitutional law matters, including the defense of civil rights claims against cities, towns, municipalities and their officials. Many of these claims allege police misconduct, such as claims of false arrest or excessive force, while other constitutional law claims are brought against municipalities and their officials for alleged equal protection, due process or other constitutional violations.
Kyle also handles Drivers Privacy Protection Act matters and Truth in Lending actions.
Kyle also represents insurers and their insureds in civil actions in a wide variety of claims, including premises liability, products liability, professional liability, contractual disputes and municipal liability. Kyle also represents insurance companies in coverage and bad faith disputes. He also has experience representing insurers in subrogation actions, including those involving automobile claims, water and fire damage, and products liability.
As a graduate of Bucknell University’s College of Engineering with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Kyle is very familiar with technology, data security, software programming and the capabilities of computers and other machines.
Kyle has been trained in mediation and conflict resolution by the Center For Victims of Violence and Crime (formerly the Pittsburgh Mediation Center).
