Mr. Burgess graduated cum laude from Dickinson College in 2005 with a B.A. in Political Science. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2008.

Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mr. Burgess was an associate in the energy practice group at a Pittsburgh law firm where he focused primarily on oil and gas title opinions and due diligence matters in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.
