Christopher Bailey is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group of Babst Calland. Mr. Bailey counsels various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on transaction matters related to oil and gas title issues and opinions.
Mr. Bailey graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University, with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting. He received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 2010. After law school, Mr. Bailey was an associate attorney for a small, Appalachian-based oil and gas law firm where his practice focused on examining and certifying oil and gas title opinions in West Virginia. He also has experience working for a land services company focusing on title and curative matters. Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mr. Bailey was an associate attorney for a law firm in headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and focused his practice on oil and gas transactional matters.

Mr. Bailey is licensed to practice in West Virginia and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). He is not admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Bailey is currently supervised by members of the Firm who are admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.
