Matthew Ryan is an associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group of Babst Calland. Mr. Ryan counsels various energy, oil, gas and mineral-related clients on transaction matters as they relate to gas title issues and opinions.
Mr. Ryan graduated from West Virginia University in 2012, with a B.S. in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Resources. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2015, where he completed a Business Law Certificate, was an Executive Articles Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal and received an Outstanding Student Award for Oil and Gas Law. Prior to joining Babst Calland, Mr. Ryan was an associate at a small Greene County law firm.

Mr. Ryan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania before the Pennsylvania state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
