Amanda J. Rydza is a member of Garcia & Gurney’s business and employment practice group. The focus of her practice with the firm is devoted to corporate matters and representing and counseling businesses on labor and employment law.
During her last semester of law school, Ms. Rydza interned with a law firm in San Francisco and began practicing business law after she passed the California Bar. Prior to joining Garcia & Gurney, Ms. Rydza’s practice was focused on family law litigation. Ms. Rydza gained significant experience in negotiations, property division, business valuations and employment issues. After several years of representing individuals in family law matters, Ms. Rydza realized her first passion was business law and counseling business owners on corporate and employment matters.
Ms. Rydza received her law degree from Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School and graduated magna cum laude. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tampa, where she majored in criminology and minored in law and justice. While in undergrad, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Nick Nazaretian in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County.
Ms. Rydza is licensed to practice law in California and is a member of the Florida Bar.
