Nearly 38 years of experience as an attorney (nearly 14 years at Stoel Rives Boley Jones & Grey and predecessor firms and over 24 years as Principal of Bradach Law Offices), primarily handling construction and design-related matters. Practice emphasis is on construction contract drafting; negotiation and administration; bids, claims and construction and design dispute mediation, arbitration; and litigation. Worked in the industry as a construction laborer, carpenter's and cement mason's helper, deckhand, accountant and job office manager on highway, bridge, concrete, pile driving, building and dredging projects, prior to admission to the practice of law. Has handled claims for or defense against claims for breach of contract, promissory estoppel, quantum meruit, fraud and misrepresentation, rescission, restitution, unjust enrichment, offset, recoupment, negligence, trespass, account stated, change, constructive change and changed or differing site conditions. Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience. American Arbitration Association Construction Arbitration Panel Member since 1993. Has represented owners, contractors subcontractors and designers in arbitration and mediation in AAA and non-AAA proceedings. Served as sole arbitrator and panel member in AAA and non-AAA proceedings. Served as a mediator of construction disputes and served as special master and referee appointed by the court at request of parties, to assist court with construction law issues and administer aspects of the case on a complex airport-related project.
