Matthew Robert Berry: Attorney with Stewart Sokol & Larkin, LLC


Matt Berry is a member of the firm's commercial litigation team. His practice focuses on business and construction litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked as a law clerk, first in the United States District Court, District of Oregon, and most recently, in the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands. While in law school, Matt interned for the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office and completed a judicial externship with the Hon. Michael J. McShane, Multnomah County Circuit Court. He also was a member of the Washington Journal of Environmental Law & Policy and taught high school students as part of the Street Law clinic.

Matt received his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Gonzaga University, where he was a member of Gonzaga University's Division I rowing team. Matt later received his Master's degree in International Studies from the University of Washington.

Outside of the workplace, Matt enjoys hiking and exploring the Portland area with his family.
