Jennifer joined Westlake Legal Group in September 2012. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the New York State Bar.
Jennifer has helped many individuals and families through these difficult times by applying her vast array of experience in family law and strategic forethought in solving each client’s individual problems. She understands the unique circumstances of each client, and the emotional turmoil of the divorce process. Each client’s needs and circumstances are of utmost importance to her.
She has experience litigating and resolving high conflict divorce cases, including successfully obtaining divorces based on domestic abuse, adultery, and desertion and abandonment; highly contested custody and visitation cases, including emergency temporary orders; spousal support, including imputation of income and permanent awards; child support, including awards of child support beyond the age of 18 for children who are unable to financially support themselves due to medical/mental conditions; and, equitable distribution, including multimillion dollar marital estates.
She also has experience successfully obtaining and defending protective orders in both juvenile and circuit court.
She also handles bankruptcy, civil litigation, financial management/estate planning, and real estate matters.
Jennifer attended The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in Detroit, Michigan, where she was a founding member of the Family Law Society. She is also a certified mediator in Michigan.
Prior to law school, Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, where she was born and raised.Jennifer lives in Loudoun County with her husband and two sons. They enjoy traveling and spending their weekends outdoors.
