Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague where he also did postgraduate studies, part of which at the London University. Previously member of the legal staff of the Czechoslovak Foreign Ministry and a member of the legal staff of the United Nations. Specializes in commercial law, international law, foreign investments, public procurement, real estates, mergers and acquisitions, franchising and international arbitration. Author of two books and numerous articles on international public and private law. Arbitrator at the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.

Admitted to the Bar in 1970. As from 1990 partner in Law firm Bubník & Myslil, as from 2000 partner in Čermák Hořejscaron; Myslil a spol., as from 2008 partner in Bubník Myslil & Partners.
