Alexander has dealt with many cases with an international aspect including MLAT (Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty) applications, particularly with tax and money laundering implications. Civil Recovery and Corruption cases are a particular area of expertise.
Alexander also has a wide range of experience both in England and Wales and the TCI in Employment Law. Alexander advises employers in non-contentious work in relation to their contracts and dismissal procedures. He has considerable experience of restrictive covenants such as restraint of trade and industrial secrets and injunctive relief, both for employers and employees. He has had conduct of several high value discrimination claims.
Alexander whilst practicing in London was appointed to the Panel of the Attorney General's List of Prosecution Advocates and he regularly prosecuted cases for Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, the NHS and DWP particularly relating to fraud concerning misuse of public funds.
Alexander has also conducted criminal trials ranging from murder, fraud, money laundering and proceeds of crime.
Alexander has substantial Appellate experience and has appeared regularly in the Court of Appeal both whilst in practice in London and in the TCI.
Alexander joined Misick & Stanbrook in 2011 and was made a partner in 2012. He previously was a Barrister at 5 St Andrews Hill in London.
Since joining Misick & Stanbrook he has been involved in many of the most high profile cases within the jurisdiction.
