David practices in Corporate and Commercial, particularly in the areas of International Cross Border Transactions, Corporate Structuring and Mergers and Acquisitions.
He also advises in Banking and Securities Law, Media and Telecommunications, Insurance, Employment and related Compliance and Regulatory matters.
In addition to admission as an Attorney in Turks and Caicos, David is admitted as an Attorney in New York State and as a Barrister and/or Solicitor in the Commonwealth of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. He is also a United Arab Emirates Legal Consultant.
As an international lawyer, David is a member of the International Bar Association (Corporate and M&A Law Committee and Oil and Gas Law Committee), the American Bar Association (International Law Section and Business Law Section), the New York State Bar Association (International Law Section and Business Law Section) and the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar Association.
He has also appeared as a speaker in the Middle East, the United States and Australia, written various articles for law and business publications and is a current participant in the World Bank Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development.
David is a Senior Attorney and Law and Arts Graduate of Monash University, Melbourne Australia and a former practicing New South Wales and Victorian Barrister. He commenced his career at a Victorian law firm which is now the Melbourne office of Norton Rose.
