Kathryn J. Wickenheiser

Kathryn J. Wickenheiser: Attorney with Thomas & Wickenheiser, LLC

Ms. Wickenheiser is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly a decade of litigation and trial experience. She spent her early years representing claimants applying for Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation, as well as those injured by a product, motor vehicle accident, dog bite, and slip and fall. Attorney Wickenheiser also was a managing attorney and junior partner at her first firm. While at that firm, Attorney Wickenheiser ran the day-to-day business needs, office management, support staff issues, client scheduling, court scheduling, holiday/vacation time, and was involved in firm business and financial decisions.

It was not too long before Attorney Wickenheiser realized she wanted to be litigating cases at trial on a more frequent basis rather than juggling a case load while running someone else’s firm. She decided to concentrate her practice on representing catastrophically injured victims and their families in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death arising out of medical malpractice and nursing home negligence.

During her practice, while appearing before numerous administrative law judges at hearings and trying cases before juries in Superior Court, Attorney Wickenheiser was repeatedly named a “Rising Star” by Massachusetts Super Lawyers as recognized by Boston magazine in 2015, 2016, and 2017, a recognition reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in the Commonwealth. Attorney Wickenheiser was also named “Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts” as recognized in Boston Magazine, which will appear in the April 2018 addition.

In addition, in 2016, 2017, and 2018, Attorney Wickenheiser was also awarded “10 Best Attorneys for Exceptional and Outstanding Client Service,” as published by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys. Her vast experience has provided Attorney Wickenheiser with the training and skills to negotiate numerous settlements to the satisfaction of her clients while also being involved in multiple million dollar plus settlements.

Attorney Wickenheiser is licensed to practice in both the state and federal courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Attorney Wickenheiser is also a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and USA500.
