Biography

Nathan R. Chicoine joined Gunderson Palmer as an associate in 2014, and is a member of the firm's Litigation group. Nathan assists clients in civil litigation, including commercial and business litigation and insurance defense.

While attending the South Dakota School of Law, he served as President of the Native American Law Students Association and as the Symposium Editor of the South Dakota Law Review. Also during law school, he served as research assistant to Professor Sean Kammer. Prior to joining GPNA, Nathan served as a law clerk for the Seventh Judicial Circuit of South Dakota.

Nathan is involved in civic organizations throughout the Black Hills, including the Rapid City Lions Club, as well as serving on the board of the Johnson Siding Volunteer Fire Department.

Nathan was raised in Pierre and is a lifelong South Dakotan. He and his wife, Catherine, enjoy exploring the Black Hills with their dogs.
