Andrea joined Krogh & Decker in September 2016 as an Associate Attorney. Prior to joining Krogh & Decker, Andrea lived in Spokane, Washington where she received her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law. While at Gonzaga, Andrea served on the Board for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and interned at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. In addition to her California practice, she was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2013 and the Idaho State Bar in 2014.
During her time in Spokane, her practice focused on civil litigation, business law, and bankruptcy. Andrea’s experience includes appearances in front of the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Idaho and the Spokane Superior Court on various matters. Since moving to Sacramento, Andrea graduated from McGeorge School of Law with a Master of Laws in Business Practice and has represented multiple public entities, including school districts, on a wide variety of litigation and transactional issues.
Andrea is a part of the firm’s litigation and transactional practice, and handles cases involving intellectual property, contracts, professional liability, construction law, real estate and employment issues.
Although she believes that every core value is important, she is most passionate about “Demanding Excellence.” Andrea believes that demanding excellence results in knowledge and growth. Knowledge, in practice, takes on many different shapes. The law is constantly evolving and knowledgeable attorneys must keep up with those changes to best help their clients. But having the requisite knowledge also means that attorneys should know their clients, know why they make certain decisions, and know how best they can add value to those clients.
Andrea is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and travels to the Pacific Northwest as often as she can. When she is not in the office, she enjoys snow skiing, spending time with friends and family, and continuing to explore the greater Sacramento area.
