A native of Sacramento, Mr. Babich graduated from Christian Brothers High School and UC Davis before attending law school at Sacramento's own McGeorge School of Law. Mr. Babich graduated from McGeorge in 2017 and was admitted into the California Bar that December.While at McGeorge, Mr. Babich consistently excelled. He earned Witkin awards for the highest grade in seven different courses, including Torts, Contracts, and Global Lawyering Skills II. He also won Best Appellant's Brief in McGeorge's Global Lawyering Skills II competition in 2016. In his final year, Mr. Babich participated as a competitor on the Moot Court Honors Board and on the Trial Advocacy Honors Team in the All-McGeorge Mock Trial Competition. For his final semester, he served as a full-time extern for the Honorable Consuelo M. Callahan of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, a position available to only the top 10% of the class.During his summers in law school, Mr. Babich worked as a law clerk for partner Steven M. Campora, assisting on the Butte Fire Litigation in 2016. After taking the bar exam in July of 2017, Mr. Babich worked as a law clerk for founding partner Roger A. Dreyer until gaining admission to the California Bar in December. Currently, Mr. Babich is an associate attorney for Mr. Dreyer, where he works on a variety of cases.Mr. Babich is a third-generation lawyer: his grandfather, the Honorable Joseph G. Babich, was a Sacramento Superior Court judge, and his father, Joseph J. Babich, is a founding partner of DBBWC.
