Sir Lawrence Albert Joseph, KCN, CBE, PhD, LLM, - Knight Commander, Commander of the Order of the British Empire, PhD (University of London), LLM (University of London), Barrister at Law (Lincoln’s Inn; London), B.Sc. Econ. (University of the West Indies), was called to the Bars of England and Wales, and Grenada since 1977, after first qualifying and working as an Economist. He is a Notary Public. A Magistrate for the early years in his legal career. He is an experienced Conveyancer, Civil and Public law Legal Advisor, and specializes in conveyancing, constitutional, administrative, land, company, banking, telecommunications, labour and industrial relations law. Sir Lawrence is currently away from the Firm having been appointed to act as Grenada's Attorney General in 2017. Further, he has distinguished himself in a career highlighted by public service to Grenada and has served as the President of the Senate, served as the Leader of Government Business, and Minister of Education and Labour of the Government of Grenada, was President and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Grenada and deputizes for the Governor General.
